We created an immersive 3-screen experience to celebrate the photography of Sadiq Bey, an Ottoman photographer known for his stunning early images of Makkah and its sacred landscapes for The Islamic Art Biennale 2023 in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Capturing the spiritual essence of the city, including the Kaaba and Hajj pilgrimage routes, his work offers a rare and historical glimpse of Makkah before modern changes. Bey’s photographs remain significant both as artistic masterpieces and as cultural documents.
